Young Ambitious and Motivated

Y.A.M, is Afrikan Boy’s brand new clothing brand, an acronym for YOUNG, AMBITIOUS and MOTIVATED was founded by Olushola Ajose, better known as Afrikan Boy and Adeshina Azeez aka Lagos Boi.

The clothing line came as a response to the blossoming artists’ desire to express their  outside of their music careers both artists started to online blog where they communicated what they, saw, heard and wore. It was this latter part that gave wake to the idea of starting a clothing line – Y.A.M.

Y.A.M was an expression of their dual identities as Young British & African with a need for street wear that they felt was representing them fully. Wearing their designs as stage wear fans and random strangers would ask where they too could buy the same cap or t-shirt.

They quickly found that there was a gap in the market, the need for African inspired streetwear was one they shared with many other in the diaspora and beyond. This was the birth of Yammm.co.uk

The online blog encapsulates all that ethos of the movement of YOUNG, AMBITIOUS and MOTIVATED individuals dedicated to bringing the latest in music, fashion and culture from around the world that share the same aesthetic. With this the team design and sell streetwear via the blogs online store.

Mission

The mission of Y.A.M is to create a one-stop destination to inspire YOUNG, AMBITIOUS and MOTIVATED individuals by highlighting those that have made it while offering distinctive youth-oriented fashion and products with inspiring aesthetic.
