Claire Won began her career in the media at the tender age of 18 where she was Deputy Editor of youth magazine, Live. Her continued efforts to expand her horizons were plenty and she found herself landing a highly sought after internship at Cosmopolitan magazine completing tasks such as admin duties, however, on the odd occasions she was offered opportunities to display her talents by writing small articles such as interviews with Eva Longoria’s team and she even embraced the opportunity to complete vox-pops with the general public where she would interview them on their most embarrassing “sexperiences” proving that she could produce results in one of the most socially awkward and cringeworthy moments of her career.
Being of an outgoing and confident nature Claire loved the appeal of a career in the PR industry and made a decision to narrow her skills to a specialism that most suited her vibrant personality, Music PR.
It was not long before Claire took matters into her own hands and began heading her own campaigns. Her first independent campaign for U.K. based Barbadian artist The Feevah, received a lot of coverage and her client appeared in Barbados’ national newspapers up to three times a week and also received a heavy web presence during the course of the campaign.
With a degree in PR and Journalism Claire Won has founded this company with a wealth of contacts within the media enabling her business start up to exhibit an extremely competitive head-start.
